Welcome to the HVHSISA League Website The Hudson Valley High School Ice Hockey Association (HVHSISA) was established in 1977 as a not for profit organization that fosters and promotes honesty, integrity, good sportsmanship, good fellowship, self-discipline, fairness, self-reliance, teamwork, self-confidence, leadership skills, and positive decision making through the sport of ice hockey.
The HVHSISA provides the league structure for High School club hockey teams throughout New York’s Hudson Valley. Players on our member teams attend public and private schools located in Dutchess, Orange, Sullivan and surrounding border counties. The league operates two divisions - Junior Varsity (students in 8th-10th Grade) and Varsity (students in 9th-12th Grade). Our organization is affiliated with the New York State Amateur Hockey Association (NYSAHA) which is the governing body for USA Hockey in the State of New York.

Tyler Swanson had a 5 point game (3g,2a) in Sugerties 11-1 Varsity win over John Jay
Dylan Allen had two goals and two assists in the same game
Ethan Bowman got the shutout in Saugerties JV's 3-0 win over John Jay
Kyle Jayson scored 3 times for FDR in their 6-4 Varsity win over Cornwall
Andrew and Nicholas Bianchi both had two goals and an assist in Cornwall's 6-4 Varsity loss to FDR
HVHSIHA PLAYERS OF THE WEEK 11/11/18
Colin Hourihan of Arlington Gold had 3 goals and 2 assists in a 10-4 win over Cornwall
Jack VanderPlatt had a hattrick for Washingtonville and Andrew Bianchi had 3 goals and an assist for Cornwall in Washingtonville's 9-4 JV win over Cornwall
Chris Leigh had a hattrick and an assist and Ray Lawson had a shutout in Arlington's 9-0 Varsity win over John Jay. Arlington has outscored Jay 20-0 in two games this season.
Landon Fitzgerald had a natural hattrick, scoring all three goals in the game in FDR JV's 3-0 win in Saugerties. Sean Croom recorded the shutout for the Presidents.
Landon Fitzgerald was up to his old "tricks" again the following night and again recorded a natural hattrick and added an assist in FDR's 7-4 JV win over Washingtonville. Kyle Jason had 4 assists including one on each of Fitzgerald's goals.

Joe Brennan of Washingtonville Varsity had two 3 goal games.- 10-0 vs JJohn Jay and 11-4 vs Cornwall
Joe Rufrano of Washingtonville JV scored 4 goals in a 14-3 win over Cornwall
Ken Luttman of John Jay scored 3 goals in a 9-6 win over Cornwal
Andrew Bianchi of Cornwall scored 3 goals in a 9-6 loss to John Jay
HVHSIHA PLAYERS OF THE WEEK 10/21/18
Ronan Hourihan scored 4 goals in Arlington's 11-0 varsity win over arch-rival John Jay
Alexis Sypek made some great saves and earned the shutout in Arlington Gold's JV victory over FDR
Ty Gallagher scored 4x including the first three goals of the game in Saugerties 13-0 varsity win over Cornwall
